Note the multiple different styles of ASICs on the board, with dates ranging from 1992 to 1996 and a mix of newer and older packaging styles. When introduced, the Onyx came with a different CPU board designed around the R4000 processor. The IP25 is a redesigned CPU board that shoehorns the newer R10K processor into the older Onyx system architecture.
